Berlin Clearance Exchange, 2016
Hyemin Park has also run a project called <Clearance Exchange>(‘clearance’, as she is about to leave Berlin for Korea). In this project the artist invites exhibition visitors to take part in a ‘trade off’, in that the visitor/participant is asked to exchange his/her drawing of the artist’s item with the actual item.

<Clearance Exchange>는 작가가 베를린을 떠나기 직전 진행한 프로젝트로, 작가가 한국에 가져가지 않을 물품 혹은 무게 제한으로 인해 가져갈 수 없는 물품들을 관객들의 드로잉과 맞교환한 프로젝트이다. 관객들은 필요한 물건을 선택하고 그것을 직접 그린 드로잉을 작가에게 전달하며 교환은 성사된다. 작가 개인이 갖는 런던에서의 기억과 흔적이 묻어있는 물품들은 작가가 만난 사람들에 의해 예술작품으로 환치되고 교환된다.
