This is a documentary film which is about a mysterious artist, covered in veil, who has created numerous public art works in Jung-Gu, Incheon. The film regains attention for his artwork and chases their meaning.
From December of 2012 on, Jung-Gu has been invested for its public artwork building and decorating the streets, in the name of 'creation of the International Street' and 'Jung-Gu in the World'. A cat that brings luck, which is located in treaty port street, a fairytale village in Songwoldong, rock panda statue in China town, and a pink parking lot in the shape of Kremlin Palace in Russia are reflecting Incheon's own taste of art in the public places, making up new stories.
The film <Exit Through the International Street>, is in the shape of a documentary film, featuring Incheon's public artworks and creation of International Culture Street in a hilarious way. Its name came from the documentary of English graffiti artist Banksy, <Exit Through the Gift Shop>, which criticises the modern art industry. <Exit Through the International Street> shows various stories that are captured in the streets of Incheon.
This film has its purpose in chasing a virtual artist who builds public artworks in Jung-Gu, Incheon, without having his face known. It is a movie in the shape of documentary film that profoundly introduces the viewers into his artistry, meanwhile dragging attention in rendering culture of Incheon and decorating streets.

만국거리는 지나 출구, 2017
2012년부터 12월부터 인천의 구도심 중구는 '만국거리 조성', '세계 속의 중구'라는 화두를 내세우며 공공조형물 설치와 거리조성 사업에 예산을 투자하고있다. 중구 개항장거리에 설치된 복고양이, 송월동 동화마을, 차이나타운의 돌덩이 판다, 러시아 크렘린 궁의 형태로 만들어진 분홍색 주차장 등 중구의 인천 특유의 미적 취향을 공공의 장소에 투영시키며, 또 다른 이야기를 만들어 가고 있다.
다큐멘터리 형식을 빌린 <만국거리를 지나야 출구>는 인천의 공공조형물과 만국문화거리 조성을 바라보는 허구적코미디 영상이다. 현대미술 시장에 대해 신랄한 비판을 가하는 영국의 그래피티 예술가 뱅크시의 다큐멘터리 <선물가게를 지나야 출구>에서 따온 영화 제목 <만국거리를 지나야 출구>(만국거리는 인천 중구가 추진하는 거리 조성 사업의 이름이다.)를 통하여 인천 거리에서 발견되는 다양한 이야기를 수집하고 편집하여 보여준다.
이 작품은 얼굴을 밝히지 않고 인천 중구에 공공조형물들을 설치하는 가상의 미술가를 추적하고, 그의 작품세계를 매우 심오하게 소개하는 다큐멘터리의 형식의 영화로, 인천시의 문화만들기와 거리 조성사업에 대해 주의를 환기시키고자 한다.
