IKEA (Korea), 2012
HyeMin PARK's ongoing IKEA Project is a series of drawing, featuring images of mass-produced objects from IKEA catalogues. Park begins by questioning the commercial value of contemporary art and its relation to labour, while examining ways of interacting with the audience.

박혜민의 IKEA 프로젝트는 IKEA에서 대량생산되는 일상생활 오브제를 작은 캔버스에 그려내는 시리즈 물이다. 전시 기간 동안, 각각의 작품들은 카탈로그에 표기된 실제 상품들과 같은 가격으로 관람객들에게 판매된다. 이 작업을 통하여 작가는 소극적인 관람객을 적극적인 소비자 혹은 미술 컬렉터의 모습으로 전환시키는 동시에, 현 미술시장과 미술품의 가치에 대한 질문을 던진다.
